Step Two: Private In-Home Appointment With Melinda
After determining we’re a good fit for your home remodeling goals, we’ll schedule a private, in-home appointment with our founder and CEO, Melinda Dzinic. Melinda is a long-time designer with a remarkable gift for turning design concepts into beautiful works of art that uniquely reflect each client’s vision.
During your in-home appointment, Melinda will absorb the energy and style of your home and help you visualize the transformation to come. This meeting will also give Melinda a chance to attune to your design goals and brainstorm initial elements and layouts that will bring those goals to fruition within your home.
Step Three: Personalized Design Planning
Next comes the most fun part: designing your dream home! We’ll take 3D images of all of the rooms that are part of the remodel, along with mapping your outdoor space for exterior home renovation if applicable. These 3D maps give us the most precise measurements possible while minimizing disruptions to your family during our design phase. We’ll use this information to create 3D renderings and blueprints of the finished space.
One of our main business goals during the interior design process is to bring your vision to life. Don’t know exactly what you’re looking for? No problem! We’ll show you photos, color palettes, and styles as inspiration and gauge which elements bring you the most joy. Then, we’ll combine those features into a cohesive design that suits your goals for the space.

We’ll start the home construction process by seeking your approval for all materials, fixtures, paint colors, and appliances that enter the space. Sometimes our clients get a little overwhelmed making all these decisions, so if preferred, we’d be happy to make them for you while keeping your design top of mind. Of course, we’ll get your final go-ahead before implementing any design changes.
During the construction process, we’ll take every measure possible to minimize disruptions to your home and routine.
