A personal note from Melinda Dzinic:
For most of us, the holidays are a time for family gatherings and celebrations of traditions past. Typically, this is a time, when families travel from all around the country to one specific location, to a loving home filled with holiday festivities, laughter, joy, and celebration of life with the ones we love. It’s a special time with our families to reflect back on the memory’s past.
In most cases, the positive energy we soak-up during the holidays will carry us through the next year. But this is not a typical year or a typical holiday. For that reason, we may have to redirect our holiday spirit to building something very special for ourselves, that special place where you can celebrate the joy of the holiday spirit with your family from a distance. Yes, we might be separated by miles but we are always connected in our hearts and thoughts.
Let this year be the year that you spend your energy recreating a space where you find inner peace, your inner joy, and happiness that empowers you and your loved ones. A special place where you can enjoy the space all year long and not just during the holidays. We, at Euro Design Build, specialize in creating such spaces, regardless if it’s your kitchen, a royal retreat for a master bathroom, or that special place you call your “home office”- AKA the main hub where you direct and guide your business world.
For some, this year, the focus will be the kitchen, which is truly known as the heart of the home where all power and strength begin with love and the nutritious food we lovingly make. For others, it might be a vegetable and herb garden. Regardless of the space, make time to clean up the clutter and rebuild it to a place your soul and heart can call home. Avoid getting overwhelmed and just take one room at a time and keep going. Before you know it, you will have created a whole new home and a place you can feel proud of. This is something you do for yourself because you are worth it.
I personally believe we were given this opportunity for a reason. Let’s not waste it on self-pity, complaining about how the “new norm” feels terrible and only inspires depression. With this pandemic, we were forced to slow down and get a sense of what life is all about. “Living” which is much more than just running crazily from one responsibility to another with deadlines at every corner and meals picked up through a drive-thru.
So, ask yourself, what will your “new norm” be this holiday or next year? Let us know if we can be part of the process of the transformation of your new home.
From our home to yours, we wish you a safe and healthy holiday season.
