Seval Dzinic, CFO/COO and Co-founder of Euro Design Build
A lot of times when you see the owner of a business, they are busy promoting the company and talking about how they are the next best thing. Seval is the “quiet promoter,” preferring to use his actions more than his words.
Many of our clients see him at their projects coming and going and occasionally doing a little bit of manual labor. Seval carefully manages our team of skilled craftsmen and has a hand in the production and completion of all our clients’ projects. Nothing is beneath him in his effort to ensure everything is being completed to the “Euro Design Build Standard.” His ability to obtain a level of perfection—whether it’s the detail of the custom cabinet construction or the way the trim carpentry work gets finished after it’s installed—is unsurpassed.
Seval is involved from the first in-home appointment, when the project is measured and photographed in order to inspect pre-existing conditions, and all the way to the completion of the final punch-list items. Seval’s passion and education both follow the details. He obtained his engineering degree from the Geo-Mining University of Tuzla, in Bosnia. He came to the United States after the war in Bosnia ended in 1995. Shortly after his arrival, we co-founded Euro Design Build to give opportunities to other highly skilled Bosnian workers looking for a fresh start and a chance to rebuild their lives after the war.
Seval is a master at merging the designer’s conceptual drawings with the real-life design. His analytical skills have been critical in making sure that our clients do not have to sacrifice anything to get that one-of-a-kind, functional and beautiful design they are dreaming about. He is the driving force behind making the fine details possible; with the help of the field team, there is nothing they can’t build. He is a great mentor to all our employees both in the office and in the field, and he has helped each one to be the best that they can be in their respective fields. His patience and compassion are truly a blessing, and his contributions are an integral part of our success. I can’t imagine doing this business without him. So, the next time you see him on a project, you can rest assured you and your design are in great hands.
During his downtime, he loves to walk his two German shepherds, Bella and Shotzy. He also has a passion for music, playing soccer, and chess. On those rare occasions when he can really get away, he likes to go fishing. He is also constantly improving himself by reading books on the economy, investing and leadership. He is a very well-rounded man and we are very lucky he is part of our team.
